Grade 8 Washers
Grade 8 SAE
Grade 8 washers are used in high strength applications when using grade 5, grade 8 and better bolts. Made from Domestic medium carbon steel, then quenched and tempered to R/C 38-45. Grade 8 washers are stocked in Rohs compliant electro zinc and yellow trivalent finish. Parts are baked for relief of hydrogen embrittlement. Stocked in sizes from 1/4″ through 1-1/2″. Parts are also marked with corresponding bolt size and pattern type such as “S” for SAE, “U” for USS. Domestic material certifications are included with your purchase.
